VCOM Update

VCOMVCOM students, and future psychiatrists Laura Williams, Hoang Nguyen, and Emily Rosen (pictured left to right) traveled from across the state to attend PSV's Fall Meeting. Taking a break from interview season, they had the to opportunity to learn from experts in their field and discuss with their peers about stigmatized issues plaguing the field of psychiatry. They also had an opportunity to learn about resident and intern life from the Lewis Gale residents and former VCOM students who were in attendance. Armed with this new knowledge, VCOM students returned to clinic and the wards with new knowledge of stigmatization issues facing the mental health community and how to approach them.
