- Donna Broshek, PhD, ABPP-CN will be working with the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) to further develop their protocol for sports-related concussion and to provide consultation on managing persisting symptoms after concussion. She co-presented a talk on “The Impact of Mental Health on Concussion” to the USOPC in September.
- Attached here please find a press release for a huge multi-year collaboration agreement between Dexcom and the University of Virginia to advance type 1 and type 2 diabetes research. - Attached here please find a link of awards won at UVA, including “Innovators of the Year” given to Dr. Karen Ingersoll (Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry) and Dr. Rebecca Dillingham for their creation of PositiveLinks, which was developed to improve the health outcomes and care for people living with HIV.
